ITW Travel Tips

  • Airlines (Eva, Delta, United, etc.) offer flights to Manila (MNL), Philippines. An additional non-stop flight from Manila to Tagbilaran, Bohol will need to be booked through Cebu Pacific, Air Asia, or Philippine Airlines. The airport staff can assist if a terminal transfer is required.
  • Philippines Airlines (philippineairlines.com) offers a flight from Los Angeles (LAX), CA to Tagbilaran (TAG), Bohol with a connection through Manila. A ticket from the city of origin to Los Angeles would need to be purchased. Students may coordinate from the international airport nearest their city.
  • Certain flights may have an overnight layover in the Manila Airport: late night arrival into Manila and early morning departure to Tagbilaran, Bohol. There are hotels within walking distance of the airport. To make appropriate accommodations please see https://www.manila-airport.net/ (click the “Hotels” tab at the top of the page).
  • Bring $100-$200 in pristine bills of larger denominations to be converted at the airport or Island City Mall. Most major US credit cards are accepted but may incur fees for international purchase or ATM withdrawals.
  • Students are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item – no checked luggage.

ITW Uniform Guidelines
