Hope Corps Accountability and Transparency Page
Organizations must have goals and values. Values are not descriptions of the work we do or the strategies we employ to accomplish our mission. The values underlie our work, how we interact with each other, and which strategies we employ to fulfill our mission. The values are the basic elements of how we go about our work. They are the practices we use every day in everything we do.
Two values that guide Hope Corps are accountability and transparency.
We define accountability and transparency as follows:
Accountability is an obligation or willingness to explain Hope Corps actions to it’s stakeholders.
Transparency is an obligation or willingness to publish and make available critical financial data about Hope Corps.
Hope Corps seeks:
To follow good governance, ethical principles and best practices guidelines.
To make it easy for donors to find critical information about the organization.
